Amerikansk Coloplast-konkurrent overgår egne og markedets forventninger

A sign on the front gate of Boston Scientific Corp. headquarters is seen 05 December 2005 in Natick, Massachusetts. Boston Scientific bid 25 billion dollars for rival medical device maker Guidant, seeking to top Johnson and Johnson's merger offer. Boston Scientific said its offer of 72 dollars per share in cash and stock is a 14 percent premium over the reduced bid from Johnson and Johnson, one of the world's biggest diversified health care firms. The new proposal would create "the world's leading cardiovascular device company" and the third-largest medical device company in the world, according to Boston Scientific.
