According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, Iceland finds itself on high alert over its Bardarbunga volcano. The Icelandic Meteorological Office said on 18 August 2014 that it raised its warning level for air traffic amid increased seismic activity at the volcano in the south east of the country.
