The "Guardian Angels for a Smarter Life" project aims to create energy-efficient devices able to help human beings in areas ranging from health to environmental protection and ultimately to allow people who have lost their speech to communicate. It is one of three Swiss research proposals among the six shortlisted by the European Union in a competition for a total of two billion euros under the EU's FET Flagship program.
