World famous 'environmental guru' Bjørn Lomborg, head of the Copenhagen Consensus Centre that's scheduled to close down in July after the new government cut its funding, claims in an interview with the British Guardian that he was a victim of politics.
He says that when he met Prime Minister Helle Thorning Schmidt during her time in opposition she agreed with the aims of the Consensus Centre, which has dismissed many of the policies initiated to reduce CO2 emissions as a waste of money, but said she would get much more political mileage out of criticising it.
